I have been reading about the Endotine Ribbon Lift recently, especially as it is rumoured to be what Madonna had done. Is it any good?

The Endotine RibbonTM is a relatively new minimally invasive procedure used to help sculpt the jawline and upper neck achieving very predictable and effective results. These dissolvable suture-like threads have barbs along the shaft which hook the skin back towards the hairline; excess skin is then removed and the device secured in the hairline, around or behind the ear.

The Endotine Ribbon Lift is great for younger women who have early jowl formation and sagging neck skin. Expect some bruising and swelling after the procedure which can be performed using heavy sedation rather than full blown anaesthetic. The lift effect should last around three to five years although the effects of ageing on the skin will continue as normal.

Not every surgeon uses the Endotine device so I suggest you do plenty of online research; look on various websites and ask the office staff before you book a consultation.
