My daughters eyelashes fell out on the top lids when she started puberty. She is now 27 and they still haven't grown back. She cannot have false lashes as there is nothing to stick them to. What are her options?
She may
have a medical
condition that
causes the loss
of eyelashes –
lash alopecia.
This can be caused by a number of medical conditions and should be checked out by her doctor.
The solution may be correcting the medical condition; if this does not result in lash growth, follicular hair transfer may be her only option.
If she has an auto-immune condition against her follicles, even this may not work. In this case, the only option would be semi-permanent make-up to make the lash line look darker.
