I am 20 years old and I have really bad bingo wings. It really affects my life as I will not go out without a long-sleeved top on. Is there anything that can be done?

‘Bingo wings’ or excess skin on the upper arms is not an uncommon problem following significant weight loss. Classic bingo wings have significant excess skin but minimal subcutaneous tissue/fat.

Upper arm reduction surgery (brachioplasty) is an effective way of dealing with the excess skin and tissue. Usually the procedure is performed under general anaesthetic.

The procedure involves excision of the excess skin and satisfaction with the procedure is high when performed for the right indications. Liposuction is also performed if indicated
