An uneven complexion had plagued Lisa for years until she tried new product Lumixyl

Treatment: Lumixyl
Name: Lisa B.
Age: 42
Occupation: Office Administrator

What prompted you to have the treatment?

I've had uneven skin tone since my first pregnancy, but it became unsightly after an aggressive laser treatment resulted in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. A friend of mine in the US had heard about Lumixyl and recommended I look into it.

Who carried out the procedure and what was their opinion at the consultation?

I saw a new dermatologist who initially recommended hydroquinone. I had used HQ before but the results were just not worth the irritation. Plus, it didn't smell or feel good to put on. I was really eager to use a non-toxic cream so my doctor set me up with Lumixyl. He added a generic retinoid to speed up the results but explained that I wouldn't need to use it with the cream in the long term.

How was the experience?

Lumixyl is my saviour cream. In addition to the results, I love the way it feels. I feel good about myself and don't feel like I need to pile on the make-up just to leave the house.

How long did it take?

I started to see results in the first six weeks using Lumixyl with the retinol. Now, I just use Lumixyl and my complexion is great.

Did you have to take any medication after it was done?

Unlike when I was on HQ and was required to take a break from the regimen, my doctor assured me there was no risk in continuing to use Lumixyl in the long term.
Lumixyl has replaced my daily moisturiser and is my favourite part of my skincare regime.

What have been the results?

My skin felt hydrated immediately. The visible results took time, but I've learned that most good things do. I am very happy with the treatment.

HOW TO ACHIEVE PICTURE PERFECT SKIN

LumixylTM is a safe, synthetic peptide technology shown to significantly help improve the appearance of unwanted discoloration, age spots, sun spots and uneven skin tone.

Developed by dermatological researchers at Stanford University, Lumixyl's ground-breaking technology is the only peptide shown to measurably promote healthy skin function in restraining tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for initiating the overproduction of melanin. It is melanin that can cause uneven pigmentation and dark spots.

Lumixyl is created for patients seeking more even skin-tone including those with melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun spots, age spots or liver spots, photodamage and hyperpigmentation caused by systemic disease or prescription drugs.

An alternative to all other skin brightening products and systems - which usually contain such active ingredients as kojic, linoleic or azaleic acid - using Lumixyl twice a day for 8 to 12 weeks will show optimum results, and it can be applied to the face, neck, décolleté and hands as well.

Lumixyl Topical Brightening Crème can be used alone, or to complement other skin treatment regimes such as skin lighteners with tretinoin and Retin-A and microdermabrasion and laser resurfacing intended to diminish dark spots, uneven pigmentation and improve overall skin tone.
