What prompted you to have the treatment?

I've had uneven skin tone since my first pregnancy, but it became unsightly after an aggressive laser treatment resulted in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. A friend of mine in the US had heard about Lumixyl and recommended I look into it.

Who carried out the procedure and what was their opinion at the consultation?

I saw a new dermatologist who initially recommended hydroquinone. I had used HQ before but the results were just not worth the irritation. Plus, it didn't smell or feel good to put on. How was the experience?

How long did it take?

Did you have to take any medication after it was done?

Unlike when I was on HQ and was required to take a break from the regimen, my doctor assured me there was no risk in continuing to use Lumixyl in the long term.

What have been the results?

My skin felt hydrated immediately. The visible results took time, but I've learned that most good things do. I am very happy with the treatment.
