MHT (Micro Hair Tattoo) scalp pigmentation treatment from HIS Hair Clinic could provide an immediate cosmetic solution to hair loss

Hair plays a large role in defining your image, with around 50 per cent of men thinning out before they are 50 years old. In the past, many men have accepted hair loss with resignation, or tried a solution and not been happy with the results. However, with the importance of physical appearance both in today's society and in the workplace, more and more men are looking to do something to reverse the condition.

MHT or Micro Hair Tattoo creates a sophisticated hair loss treatment based on a specialised scalp tattooing pigmentation procedure expertly performed to ensure natural looking hair replications and micro hairs.

MHT is an ideal solution for men wanting a cosmetic makeover to achieve a modern ‘buzzed' hairstyle and can successfully aid people to achieve the following: remove the need to wear a wig/hair piece,
increase the density of any remaining hair, cover bald spots or alopecia, camouflage hair transplant scars, and provide a permanent solution to temporary concealer products.

How is the MHT technique different to standard tattooing?
MHT needles have been designed to be microfine in size and a computer controlled device is used rather than a traditional tattoo machine.

Traditional tattooists often reuse their needles, but MHT needles are sterile, single use and are clinically disposed of after each procedure. Also specially formulated pigments are used as opposed to general tattoo ink. These do not change colour after insertion like traditional tattoo inks.

Who benefits from this treatment?
Anyone suffering from any type of hair loss, anyone looking to find an alternative solution to conventional hair loss treatments such as wigs, tablets, lotions and surgery or anyone wishing to disguise scars from hair transplants, sunburn or accidents. It provides an effective impression of a full head of hair that is closely cropped or shaved, which can be worked into any remaining areas of hair coverage.

Is it permanent?
It is classed as ‘permanent', although with time the pigment is likely to fade and soften due to ultraviolet light and the sun so comprehensive aftercare instructions are provided to preserve the best results.

How long will it take?
Generally two treatment sessions are required, and the length of treatment time is totally dependent upon the size of scalp and the area of hair loss. On average a typical treatment takes two to three hours for the initial appointment and one to two for the second.

Will it hurt?

This is down to your skin sensitivity; it has been described as a series of small pinpricks.

How soon will I see results?
The effects are instantaneous following the initial treatment. However, the final results generally take two to five days following the last treatment.

Does it damage any remaining hair?
The company works with a number of European hair transplant companies and, in the opinion of their surgeons, it does not damage any remaining hair.

Jayson's story:

Raj's story: I went to see HIS Hair Clinic after wearing a wig continuously for over three years. It was not only very expensive but also my scalp had been badly damaged by the adhesive that was used to hold the wig in place. Following the treatment, the redness on my scalp has slowly faded away and returned to normal and I feel much more comfortable with my look than I ever did wearing a wig. Anyone thinking about having this done should give it some serious consideration. There is no right or wrong solution to hair loss but all I can say is that I've tried every possible option to cover up my baldness except surgery, and I've never been happier.

Shakeel's story: When I first heard about this treatment I was unsure so HIS Hair Clinic put me in touch with a client who'd had the same hair loss as me. His results were amazing and I decided to go for it. The first session left my hair fairly dark and red but the redness went away the next day and the colour quickly became really natural. The second was just to get the hairline sorted. I go to the barbers for my hair to be trimmed and he kept asking me if I'd had a transplant and why didn't I have any scars. I explained about the procedure and you should have seen his jaw drop. He was amazed because it looked so normal.

Carter's story: I became worried about hair loss when my barber commented on my thinning hair. My doctor prescribed me this supposed wonder drug Propecia and I thought everything was going to be OK but soon my hairline receded even more. I started a new job and became very self conscious so started to use concealers. They worked for a while until one day I got rained on and my hairline disappeared. I had to pretend to be sick and go home. I started to think about a hair transplant but I was only 25 and it was too expensive. The whole thing really affected me until I stumbled across the website for HIS Hair Clinic. The treatment has been a great success.
