1 in 10 women 'cry in front of changing room mirror' RSS Feeds

Created on 30th November -0001

As many as one in ten women have cried when confronted with their appearance in a shop changing room, a study has found.

Once again highlighting the importance a majority of women attach to physical appearances, 88 per cent of those questioned admitted to re-evaluating their figures as a result of trying something on in a shop.

What's more, four in ten have purposefully purchased an item of clothing too small for them in an effort to appear slimmer, the research carried out by Fitness magazine revealed.

Less surprisingly, the parts of the body women were found to be most unhappy with included their waists, legs, hips, bottoms and their arms.

The findings come soon after Ulrika Jonsson revealed that she is looking into cosmetic surgery as she is unhappy with her physical appearance.

The Swede is currently considering a breast reduction in a bid to get her pre-baby figure back.
