Boob jobs are the most popular cosmetic surgery operations in the UK, it has been revealed.
Research conducted by the Harley Medical Group found that, of all the cosmetic surgery options currently available, breast enlargement is the most sought after - and C is the cup of choice.
The cosmetic surgery company also disclosed that Newcastle is the town in which more people have plastic surgery than in any other in the UK - with a boob job being performed on Tyneside every day on average.
According to model Helen Benoist, 29, more people are having cosmetic surgery in Newcastle than anywhere else as a result of a change of attitudes in the town.
"Geordie girls are the most attractive in the country. They like to look good and this shows they are taking care of themselves," she told the Sun newspaper.
"Plastic surgery is not as expensive as it used to be so it's much more acceptable."
Botox has tempted City types into securing second place for London in terms of cosmetic surgery popularity, with Bristol, Southampton, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton and Belfast completing the top ten.
