Clinicians will soon have a new cellulite reduction technology to add to their list of treatments following the launch of a new system.
Eleme Medical has launched its new SmoothShapes system at the Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV).
The system is designed to provide longer-lasting cellulite improvement and tackles both the appearance of cellulite and its underlying causes.
It relies on Photomology technology, which combines dynamic laser and light energy with mechanical massage and vacuum.
This alters the tissue responsible for cellulite, while also stimulating the restoration of healthy cell activity.
Nancy Briefs, president and CEO of Eleme Medical, revealed that the technology has been approved on the back of rigorous, independent and ongoing clinical studies.
"Based on our technology's robust scientific foundation, we expect considerable interest in SmoothShapes from dermatologists attending the EADV Congress," she commented.
