Tennis star to undergo cosmetic surgery to improve performance
Created on 01st January 1970
17 year old Romanian tennis player Simona Halep has revealed plans to undergo a breast reduction operation in order to better her game.
Halep, who is currently ranked 317th in the world, said "The breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. It's the weight that troubles me, affecting my ability to react quickly".
The tennis star, who is currently a hefty 34DD, has booked into a private clinic to undergo the operation, and claims that she would have had the cosmetic surgery even if she were not a sportswoman, as her large bust troubles her in daily life as well as on the court.
However, there are fears that a breast reduction may cost her some fans, as the Wimbledon hopeful is appreciated by some as much for her figure as for her game.
