Jessica Lange Denies Having Plastic Surgery RSS Feeds

Hollywood actress Jessica Lange has denied having any plastic surgery - despite appearances to the contrary.

At this year's Emmy awards, Lange looked noticeably smoother and tighter-skinned than she has done recently - all prompting much speculation that she has had cosmetic surgery work. However, in spite of the interest surrounding Lange's features in the press, her spokesperson has emphatically denied that Jessica has had any procedures done. When asked if her client had had plastic surgery, Lange's spokesperson replied: 'It's absolutely not true.'

At 59 years old and in an industry where aging is not looked up kindly, few would blame Jessica Lange if she did admit to having cosmetic surgery. Famously beautiful in her younger years, Lange won as much praise for her gorgeous looks as she did for her superb acting.

However, the inevitable process of ageing seems to have struck her hard and, despite denying it, few would dispute the fact that she has probably had some plastic surgery in order to delay the process.

American celebrity plastic surgery website Make Me Heal, has previously reported that the actress had undergone a face-lift, brow lift and Botox in order to maintain the high-cheekboned, cat-eyed appearance she was famous for in her youth.

The site claims that in order to keep looking so taught and youthful, Lange is likely to have has regular cosmetic surgery procedures including Botox injections or fillers into her forehead. Her neck and face are certainly very smooth for a woman in her late 50s and she doesn't have any lines around her eyes, mouth or down from her nose.

Dr Anthony Youn, a practising cosmetic surgeon thinks that Jessica's cat-eyed shape is more exaggerated than when she was younger. He is quotes as saying: "There are a number of changes now that just are not what we would attribute to normal aging changes. Usually as people age the corners of the eyes tilt downward, and they tilt more downward as you get older, not upward."

However, it seems that Lange is sticking firmly by her 'no cosmetic surgery' stance. So until it's proved otherwise or she admits to having had work done, it seems likely that the speculation will continue.
