Former model Annette Edwards is devoted to rabbits. A world famous breeder of the animals she also owns the world's largest bunny. Now Annette has taken her obsession one step further by spending over £10,000 on plastic surgery in order to look like her idol Jessica Rabbit.
Her radical makeover is the result of a week of plastic surgery and three months of dieting but Ms Edwards, 57, claims that she is delighted with her new look: She said: 'My love of rabbits made me decide to go for the operations and make the big change.
'Since I had it done I have had loads of compliments and I love the way I look now.
'I have had a breast uplift, a brow lift, chin implants and botox injections.
'The body has changed just down to pure hard work, I haven't had any liposuction or anything like that.
'I've been on a strict diet for three months, where I've just really lived a bit like a rabbit - eating only salads and cereals, it's been mad.'
Annette had her operations performed in London's Harley Street - world famous for it's cosmetic surgery clinics. Over a week surgeon's carried out a number of procedures on her including a boob job, brow lift and £600 worth of Botox injections bringing the grand total she's spent on surgery to over £10,000.
Ms Edwards, a great-grandmother and mother of ten children herself, admitted that her new look had come of something of a surprise to some of her offspring. She said: 'My kids think it's mad - although they are never shocked by me any more.
'They've all reacted really well and have always supported me.'
While it's obviously Annette's love of rabbits that partly inspired her choice of make-over, she picked a popular character to emulate. In March this year Jessica Rabbit was voted the sexiest cartoon character of all time - 20 years after she first appeared in the cinema in the film Who Killed Roger Rabbit? So her new look is bound to be a hit with the opposite sex too.
