It is
estimated that around 90% of women suffer from the accumulation of fat and
toxins underneath the surface of the skin we know as cellulite - or 'orange
peel' skin. Despite a lot of research into the area, there is much debate about
the cause of cellulite that suggests diet, stress levels, hormones and genetics
can all play a part in contributing to cellulite. Unfortunately for many women,
it is resistant to even the most rigorous of exercise regimes and diets so
often a cosmetic procedure is the only option to get rid of these stubborn
toxins.
However, whilst women may have opted to undergo procedures like Endermologie and Mesotherapy in the past to get rid of their cellulite, now they will have to do no more than buy a new pair of jeans! Recently seen on The Doctors, a French company claims that the denim they make their jeans from can cure cellulite. The denim of these miracle working jeans is infused with certain active ingredients such as red vines and peach that aim to moisturise the skin. However, the main 'ingredient' to fight the cellulite is the green tea (which has already been used to fight cellulite in other treatments) that is infused into the cloth of the denim.
Dr. Ordon asserts that the effects of wearing the jeans have been seen after wearing them for twenty eight days in a row - without washing them, as this would remove the anti-cellulite ingredients from the denim. So, if you're okay with wearing the same trousers for four weeks running, maybe this will be the treatment for you. As for the rest of us, sticking with the more conventional treatments may seem the better option...
