SmartLipo gave me the shape I wanted

I am generally happy with my body but I wanted more definition around my waist. My stomach and waist didn't look good in the clothes that I wanted to wear, and made me feel self-conscious in tight-fitting clothes.

I went for a consultation with Mr Ayoubi, because I wanted to remove the fat and give me a flatter shape. I explained what I wanted to achieve and Mr Ayoubi discussed the options. He showed me what I could realistically expect and discussed all the pros and cons of the procedure. The nurse explained about wearing a compression garment for a few days after the operation and showed me what it would be like. I think I was a good candidate because I just wanted to have a better shape not a totally flat stomach.

Mr Ayoubi suggested I have SmartLipo on my abdomen which would reduce the fat in that area and give me a smoother line. It is a quick solution with no time off work, and seemed much more suited to me, as I had considered Liposuction but felt that the downtime was too long and it seemed more radical than I wanted. He explained that this new procedure would also tighten the skin and explained the procedure to me including any possible risks.

On the day I was to have the SmartLipo, I was taken by a nurse to change into a gown. I was a little nervous but everyone was very nice and put me at ease. Mr Ayoubi explained everything again and marked the areas he would be working on before I was taken in to the theatre. When I was taken into theatre I was given local anaesthetic and when the procedure started I could not really see what was going on and the feeling was uncomfortable but not painful. When it was completed I was fitted with the garment and given a cup of tea. I soon felt able to go home. When it was over I was fitted with a garment rather like a body shaper that I wore for almost two weeks.

I did not have to take any time off work and returned the following day. I could see an improvement immediately and can still see improvements as the weeks go by. I do believe it is worth the money if someone is concerned about one or two areas of their body. Clothes feel loser and fit better and it is a great confidence booster. I am very happy with the results and would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve the shape of their stomach.
