Breast augmentation

Breast enlargement (or augmentation) surgery involves surgically inserting an implant behind the natural breast tissue to change the size and shape of the breast. Breast augmentation is a similar procedure but is usually conducted to create better symmetry.

 

The breast implants used are either a silicone rubber shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution known as saline.
