Breast Enlargement
There are surgical and non-surgical options available for those seeking larger breasts. Candidates are women who have naturally small breasts or are dissatisfied with the changed shape and size of their breast after pregnancy, breast feeding or weight loss.
The surgical option is to insert a breast implant composed of a silicone rubber shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution known as saline. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and can be inserted either between the skin and chest muscle or beneath the chest muscle depending on the patient's frame.
There are other breast enlargement options such as Macrolane, which is a hyaluronic acid filler that boosts the size of your breasts without surgery. Another method which is used in Japan and the United States is fat transfer; the patient's own fat which is taken from the legs or abdomen via liposuction is injected into the breast. The drawbacks with this method include the reabsorption of fat which could mean repeat procedures and that it can make breast cancer more difficult to detect.
