Breast Reduction
Women with overly large breasts often feel their lives are restricted both physically and emotionally. They can also be a source of physical discomfort, causing back and breast pain and leading to bad posture.
The aim of breast reduction surgery is to restore proportion, by reducing the amount of breast tissue while uplifting the remaining breast tissue at the same time. The surgeon will also reposition your nipple and areola if necessary to give the breast a natural appearance.
The surgery can take up to three hours to perform under a general anaesthetic and require a one to two night stay in hospital. Wearing a properly fitted, supportive bra for up to three months after your surgery will keep your breasts supported during healing and will help give you the best possible results.
