CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
CO2 laser skin resurfacing uses a carbon dioxide laser to precisely remove the outer layer of damaged skin, revealing the new, soft, smooth skin underneath. Recently, the introduction of fractional or pixellated lasers has significantly reduced the pain and downtime involved.
CO2 laser skin resurfacing is ideal for treating lines and wrinkles, but is also very effective in the treatment of acne scarring, uneven pigmentation and photodamage.
CO2 laser skin resurfacing treatments are perfectly safe when performed by an experienced practitioner, and should only ever be performed in a Care Quality Commission registered clinic.
